PRESIDENT JOHN Evans Atta Mills has disclosed that the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) will soon construct a Center of Hope in the Cape Coast Metropolis to train footballers, coaches and football administrators in the country.

This, according to him, follows his interaction with the FIFA President Sepp Blatter last week in Switzerland.

President Mills made this known at this year’s Oguaa Fetu Afahye, celebrated by the chiefs and people of Cape Coast, in the Central region, on Saturday.

President Mills noted that the area deserve the Center of Hope project since Cape Coast has been the center of soccer for decades now.

He commended Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs for working hard to qualify for the Glo Premiership.

President Mills therefore advised Cape Coast Venomous Vipers to rally behind Ebusua Dwarfs and also work hard to quality for the league next year.

President Mills donated two sets of jerseys and footballs to Ebusua Dwarfs and Vipers.

Meanwhile a match was played between Ebusua Dwarfs and Vipers to commemorate the activities of the festival.
