    Default Divorce in Christianity

Divorce is one thing that is frowned upon in Christianity but it is not wrong if it shd occur when there are marital problems like infidelity. However, we have pple leave ghana and come to these western countries to get married to pple just for papers and we all know what they actually go through during this process. I was wondering shd these pple who do this and call themselves Christians, divorce after getting their papers, will their act be frowned on or it is ok to do that.

there is a serious clash of the purpose of the institution of marriage(where we ideally say we want marriage to take us) and the implementation of marriage......

staying in unhappy marriages is a choice imposed and influenced by dogma ...... once again u cannot say u want to go to new jersey from new york but board a bus destined for say boston

now in regards to the shoulds and should nots ... well its up to them.... its their choice who ever that is....

Didn't the Bible state somewhere along the lines of...if your left arm bothers you cut it off and if your right eye does same pluck it out for it is better to go into heaven with one arm or one eye than to go to hell with both ?

Pardon me if my quote is vague but the same applies to marriage and divorce. In regards to the "paper" marriages, i believe there is some sort of agreement between both parties prior to the wedding, meaning the purpose of the wedding is strictly business. If the two parties ended up in divorce court what has Christianity got to do with it ?
