    Default Which level of education

Which level of education would you say made you whom you are today.

    Preschool
    Junior high school (JHS)
    senior high school (SHS)
    Undergraduate education
    Graduate education

For me, I would say JHS. My reason:

All my life, i thought i was gonna be an accountant till in JHS, lol used to be JSS 2, when my French teacher, Monsieur Agbe was teaching and i fell in love with french. his love and attitude towards french just made me fall deep in love with the language. and since then i have pursued French all my life and i talk about it with passion. Those that know me personally know about my love for french and what i am talking about. Yes i am doing Nursing but am also doing french too ending up with 2 degrees by the time i graduate. Will never trade french for anything.

    Vive Francais, Vive!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could even go further and say all these institutions actually hindered my intellectual progress

Chapati are you sure you fell in love with FRENCH ? I'm thinking you fell in love with Mr. Agbe or Mr. French, considering your ghanadiscuss street cred LOOOOOOOOOOL

And back to your question, i think middle school and high school made me what i am today. I practiced all the stuff i learned from my uncles PLAYBOY magazine on the lil honeys and look how great i turned out haha

But I'm serious Chapati. When you are self-taught, the so called education in this world is 'nonfa'. I can tell you that all these stages in school taught me how to read in English and Twi (when I was younger). French was total nonsense, I hated the subject. I went into engineering during the tertiary years, sometimes asking myself 'what the ****? Is this all I would be doing as a career for a longtime in my life'? When I was working on electrical panels, I was discussing history, life, religions and philosophy with my lecturers. As if I was buddy buddy with them and never shutting up one of my mates shouted, why don't you write a book?

It wasn't long before I discovered I was wasting my time. I threw it all away learning that family chose the course for me. Now doing psychology, I feel like debating against some of these personality theories. Some of these researchers paa. Crap!

But it was never any school or institution that made me see the world as it is. It was never some varsity or JSS that made me question life. When you are human with a brain which thinks deeper, you observe, you learn, you experience and all these combined, you don't need a black board with white chalk and a khaki, white T shirt wearing man with an aboi standing in front of you with a cane telling you about life or what made you what you are today. You feel me?
