Despite reports last week that the Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng would not be moving to Genoa, the player's lawyer, Mario Miele, has revealed the move is back on.

"We are awaiting the call of Genoa. In all liklihood we will have a meeting with the leadership of the Rossoblu sometime this week.

As far as we are concerned there are no problems with the deal. The problem to solve is between the two clubs who have yet to reach an agreement," he said, according to

The Rome club clinched Genoa's Robert Aquafresca on loan for the season but may have to turn their attentions to replacing the defender Aleksandar Kolarov, who is set to move to Manchester City this week.
