Default Thierry Henry,Gio Van Bronckhorst Retire From International Football

Thierry Henry 32,who is France's all time international goal scorer has retired from international football following France's disastrous outing at the just ended FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa. He leaves the international scene having scored 51 goals with 123 international caps for France.

Also announcing his retirement from international football is the Netherland's captain and World Cup runner-up Giovanni Van Bronckhorst. He scored a scorching 35 yarder against Uruguay to help his country qualify to the final of the 2010 world cup against Spain. The 35 year old Gio as he is affectionately called leaves an indelible mark on the minds of all who witnessed the Netherland's run at the world cup.

Also retiring today is England's Emile Heskey after an 11 year international run.

Thiery's contribution to French football is immense. He should be given a heroic send off party.
