Immanuel Kant classified space and time as a priori building blocks of the intuition. However, more recently, Einstein, merging space and time, has solidified them as entities of the physical universe. Without a doubt, this must have a strong effect on out metaphysical views. Views, as most of us know, which have gathered no little influence from the ideas of Kant. In the aftermath of Einstein's theory and it's mathematical validations, where does this leave Kant as a metaphysician? With such a shattering blow to the its fundament, what can be salvaged on his philosophy?
