Jermaine Jackson says his family secretly planned to convince his brother Michael to escape if he had been found guilty of child molestation back in 2005.

JJ told the London Times that the family planned to help Michael flee to Bahrain, which doesn't have an extradition treaty with the U.S.

He said they even had a plane on call to help him escape. He insisted Michael knew nothing of the plan, but that the Jacksons thought they could have convinced the late pop icon to go along with it.

"At the end of the day, this is supposed to be the land of the brave, home of the free, democracy, freedom of speech. The way they were treating him, none of that existed. Why should he go to jail for something he didn't do?"

Jermaine said. "If they were going to sit and crucify my brother for something that he didn't do, America deserves us not to come back here."
