View Full Version : 14 Black Stars players Commence Preparation Toward Up Coming Match ups

Many members of the Black Stars resumed training on Monday for their penultimate 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Swaziland on Friday, September 2 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Fourteen players attended the session under the technical direction of head coach Goran Stevanonic.

The players who engaged in the training are keeper Richard Kingson, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Kwadwo Asamoah, Asamaoh Gyan, Sulley Muntari, Rabiu Mohammed, Anthony Annan, Prince Tagoe, Isaac Vorsah, John Paintsil, Jonathan Mensah and debutant Albert Adomah.

Also present were the local legion of goalkeeper Ernest Sowah and Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Nathaniel Asamoah.

Information gathered by GNA Sports indicates that the remaining players are expected to arrive by the close of Tuesday.

Head coach Stevanonic is hoping to have the full complement of his team for Tuesday’s session.

Players yet to arrive include Samuel Inkoom, Derek Boateng both of Ukrainian side Dnipro FC, Andre Ayew and kid-brother Jordan, goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey and Dominic Adiyiah.
