Ace Nigerian Artiste the ‘coco’ master D’banj, celebrated Ghanaian music group VIP, the ‘mujebaya boys’ 5five, newcomers D-Crime and Stay –J, winners of Vodafone’s Icon, R&M and some of Africa’s finest are set to thrill music lovers at the 2nd edition of Vodafone’s 020 live concert.

The musical concert is expected to rock Ghanaian music lovers with another level of ecstasy at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre on September 20, 2011.

Speaking at the launch of the event, Tuesday August 23, at Citizen Kofi’s Entertainment Centre, Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Ghana Uche Ofodile, said this year’s event will be different, surpassing the first edition.

Ms. Uche Ofodile promised that Vodafone aims to make the event grand and bring out the passion in Ghanaians which she notes, is music.

“This year’s event promises to be different and will bring out the biggest passion in Ghanaians, which is good music”.

An international artiste is set to grace the event but officials of Vodafone are tight-lipped about giving a name however, rumours have it that international R&B superstar, Trey Songz is the surprise package Vodafone is keeping for Ghanaian music lovers.

VIP tickets for the event go for 100 Ghana cedis and 50 Ghana cedis for regular but in a bid to reward loyal Vodafone customers, customers who purchase 10 Ghana cedis worth of credit can get a regular ticket for 30 Ghana cedis.

DJ Black, Sarkodie, Ruff N Smooth, Richie, Eazzy, 4×4 and Tiffany and the Mo-Hits crew from Nigeria were some of the popular artists that featured in last year’s event.
