View Full Version : Black Queens Begin Preparation For Africa Nations Championship

Coach of the senior women's team, A.K Edusei has commenced preparations towards the 2010 African Women’s Championship after naming a 25-member team.

The Black Queens on Tuesday started preparations at the national camp, the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Ghana will be making their 7th appearance at the women's championship to be hosted by South Africa which kicks off next month.

The Black Queens having consistently participated at the finals since 1998 and will join hosts South Africa for the final tournament fixed for September.

Musah Naziha, Patience Kpobi, Aminatu Ibrahim, Mary Berko, Nancy Coleman, Yaa Avoe, Portia Boakye, Ama Saabi, Mary Neequaye

Letitia Zikpi, Florence Okoe, Doris Nettey, Abdul Safia, Akua Sika, Fatima Adjei, Sakina Mumin, Sabina Mensah, Veronica Ashietey

Ghana women's soccer at the senior level is a waste of time. The younger ones will play so well at the youth level and suck at the senior level due to the technical incompetence of the coaches.
Not to say the coaches at the youth level teams are any better.
