Sensational gospel artiste Herty Borngreat is set to sweep all awards she has been nominated in at this year’s MTN Ghana Music Awards.

Herty, who is a relatively new entrant into the Ghanaian gospel music scene, has made giant inroads in both the traditional gospel categories as well as some general categories of the Ghana Music Awards nominations with her Odo ben ni album.

She has been nominated for Gospel Artiste of the Year, Discovery of the Year, and Best Vocal Performance, while her hit song Odo ben ni has been nominated for Gospel Song of the Year for this year’s event.

Although this is her maiden appearance at the annual awards, the silky voiced gospel artiste is hopeful of sweeping all four of the awards she has been nominated for, following the release of her nine song album, also titled Odo Ben Ni.

She is billed to perform at the special anniversary convention of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (C.E.M.) at the Rehoboth Temple, North Legon from March 9-13. The convention is expected to be attended by such powerful men of God as Pastor Mensah Otabil of ICGC, Rev. Steve Mensah, General Overseer of C.E.M. and Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo of the KICC, UK.

This year’s MTN Ghana Music Awards ceremony, slated for the 9th of April, will be held at the Dome, Accra International Conference. The event will be preceded by the Ghana Music Awards Dialogue and the Ghana Music Awards Nominees party in Kumasi. Telecom giant MTN is sponsoring the awards.
