According to her, though “many people are afraid to take risks, it’s really important to understand that sometimes you need to take risk by starting at the bottom.

When I think about me, I interned at so many places. I worked for free for so long and although it can be very challenging not having money on you, you still need to work for free because the experience; having other people know and see that you are committed, helps you move forward.”

Speaking to citifmonline.com the beauty queen stated that “having your passion and putting everything that you can into it and being willing and able to start at the bottom is what it takes to build up.”

According to her, internship was necessary to get one prepared when there were opportunities available.

“You really need to think and reflect on who you are as a person and what your passion is, as well as what inspires and what motivates you,” she added.

Meanwhile, Miss Osei who is in the country for a few weeks in collaboration with Next Wave, launched the first ever Innovation Fridays, a networking event for young professional women.

The event saw the birth of a business pitch competition for female entrepreneurs in Ghana.

According to her, the competition would help raise funds for the winners of the competition who would be assisted financially to aid them in pursuing their dreams.

The business plan competition would bring together investors and advisers in the business community to judge the presentations of young women who have a good business plan to pursue.
