Hi,

I'm a male from Trinidad and Tobago and live in the States. I just wanted to know if Ghana has a love for Soca music? I would assume reggae is big, but I don't know about soca? Have you heard about artists like Machel Montano? Bunji Garlin? Does Ghana have a Caribbean style carnival? Have you heard Differentology?

On the flipside, as far as Ghanian culture, I don't think Ghanian music is played at all in the Caribbean..sadly. Can you advise me where to find good Ghanian music in any genre?

I believe Ghanaians love soca but there hasn't been an artiste out yet to own the soca genre in Ghana, well none that i know of, but most parties i have attended have come alive with soca or dance hall reggae where Ghanaians are concerned.

What is Soca? South California? Cayenne? Please be more precise. Shortcuts are only great, if we know them. Hugs.
