View Full Version : My dreams..My reality

Everyone has a dream u see
of what's expected of them
Of how good they can be
To be the best version of oneself
The object of others affections
Do we have the same recollections? The same dreams?
If we don't wake up from these dreams does it effect our reality?
I believe everyone has the same dream as me
I believe they share it with me
Not the dream like Martin Luther King or the Ku Klux Klan
But everyone controlling their own hand
Everyone has a purpose
This purpose being misguided by their job security
What career pays the most
Not what they like doing the most
So, how can we be the best we can be
When we're forced to be what will help us prosper in this society
Instead of going with the natural flow of you
You're forced to live in this reality that is unbeknownst to you
Listen to this reasoning..
U can be the best accountant one can be and you hate the numbers
You can enjoying cooking but the pay isn't as lucrative
So you stick with accounting because you've come to admire the prosperity
You feel this greedy drive
Then you start to compromise
Everything you hoped to live by
What u see through your closed eyes
When you're laying there sleeping just like me
Having the same dream as me
The same dream i see I know you share it with me
I believe our dreams can become our reality
Or can I be so bold to say
If i get to choose
I'd rather My Dreams Be My Reality
