View Full Version : Lydia Forson arrives in the US for movie premiere

Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has touched down in Washington in the US Thursday ahead of the premiere of the movie In The Cupboard which she stars in.
Lydia who gained prominence in Ghana, and West Africa, for her roles in Shirley Frimpong Manso’s Scorned, Perfect Picture and A Sting in a Tale has been on the ‘quiet’ when it comes to movies since then.

She has bounced back in style starring in, In The Cupboard, a movie by the Royal Arts Academy, and produced and directed by Nollywood superstar, Desmond Elliot.

The family saga movie also stars, Big Brother Africa All Stars winner, Uti Nwachukwu; Ini Edo, Alex Ekubo, Morris Sesay, Tessy Abubakar, Ginnefine Kanu and Biola Segun Williams who plays the role of the matriarch who holds the answers to many unanswered questions after her husband’s death.

Lydia is arriving in Washington ahead of the movie’s premiere at the The Center Inc., New Jersey on Friday, November 4.

Lydia Forson who doubles as a professional script doctor tweeted that, “Just arrived in Washington and its cccoooled. Already missing the sun! All roads lead to Jersey tomorrow (Friday) for the premiere of #inthecupboard.”

The movie will also premiere at the Studio Movie Grill in Dallas on Sunday, November 13.

It is expected to attract some stars of the movie and celebrities including, Emem Isong, Desmond Elliot, Ini Edo, Ramsey Nouah, Genevieve Nanji, Monalisa Chinda and Uti Nwachukwu.
